K3 August Overview

Concentration on Beginning School Skills: Following directions, listening at group time, participating in

group time and individual instructional time, cooperating with and being respectful to teachers and other

adults, playing appropriately with other children, standing and walking in a line and walking quietly in the

hallways, using good manners at mealtime, and developing independent restroom skills.

Circle Time: Staying seated, listening and keeping hands and feet to yourself, singing morning song,

introduction of weather graph, introduction of days of week, introducing season (summer), and listening to our

morning story.

Bible: “Be kind to one another.” Ephesians 4:32; Introduction to the Fruits of the Spirit
