4th Grade Overview

November 2 - 8

Reading: We will continue our unit on Cause and Effect. Your child will have nightly reading homework. Ask your child about their reading. They should be making notes on sticky notes or a sheet of paper to help them fill in their SPEC logs. Check their agenda to see if they need to read each night. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to Miss Robinson.

Spelling: We will work on list 5 this week for spelling. The Spelling Choice Board will be due on Friday, November 8. The Spelling Test will be on Friday, November 8. 

ELA/Writing: In ELA, we are starting our study of nouns. In Writing, we will continue with opinion writing.

Math: We will continue to focus on area, multi-digit multiplication, and early division in Unit 2. Homework Packets will be their Practice Test and are due on Thursday. The Unit 2 Test will be on Friday. 

Social Studies/Science: I will be gone Monday - Wednesday next week.  Students will be working on a pic collage project in class about an individual that was instrumental in the Revolutionary War. We will also continue looking at the important battles of the war.
