Jess Speicher, Teacher Assistant

Jessica was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, and moved to Chattanooga for college in 2015. Shortly after she arrived in Chattanooga, she met her husband, Ethan, and has been married since 2018. Ethan and Jessica welcomed their first baby, Millie, in 2023. They are so excited that Millie will be attending BBS in the fall. 

They are active members of Brainerd Baptist Church, and Ethan has the privilege to serve on staff as the Pastoral Assistant. 

Jessica had a successful career as a medical assistant before becoming a stay-at-home mom in 2023. She has years of experience working with kids through various church programs and non-profit organizations. She loves her family and loves spending quality time with them. They love to hike, play in the fountains at Coolidge Park, read books, and try new coffee shops together. 

One of her favorite Bible verses is Acts 20:24 - “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”
